I have been giving some thought to my final project and I am thinking about color schemes. I had originally thought hues of green and white/cream. But now I am thinking about earth tones, browns, taupes, greens, with splashes of vivid colors like fuchsia or pink.
And as for original content. I am not sure how chatty our websites can be. But I was thinking about explaining why I became a vegetarian, how long I have been a vegetarian and how that has impacted my life. I also wanted to detail how it's not just a fad but a way of life so I was thinking about changing my title from the capricious Vegetarian's Rule to something along the lines of A Vegetarian Way of Life - or something like that.
I am also hoping to make the website as accessible as possible. I am paying more attention to the websites I visit now and I would like to make sure that my website is usable by all.

Your vegetarian website sounds like a great idea with a lot of potential. Previous classes have produced a couple of veg-oriented sites, such as the very specific Veggie Hoagies and the more general Vegetarian Cuisine. As you have written, many possible subtopics are possible! I'd like to see something about the philosophy, including ideas for tolerance of different styles of vegetarianism... Perhaps I dream??? --ELC
I think the Vegetarian community is pretty tolerant as a whole. I mean with the possible exception of militant vegans. But I know that my philosophy is not one of judgement. I think I am the only vegetarian in my circle of friends and family and I never judge what they eat. The only time I might make a comment is when they choose to eat veal. But that's about it. I like your idea though of including something about the philosophy.
You should definitely talk about why you are a vegetarian. Because some people do it for ecological reasons. Also, for pictures, you could take pictures of your favorite vegetarian meals.
